Clifton Retreat

The new owners of this Clifton residence longed for a more inviting, functional entertainment space and more visually appealing property. To achieve this, we designed and installed a Techo-Bloc driveway leading to the front flagstone walkway, which wrapped around the side of the home to the existing pool area in the backyard. There, we upgraded the original concrete pool deck by continuing the flagstone walk throughout and incorporated retaining walls to enlarge and further define the once small, drab entertainment space. Staircases and planter beds were incorporated into the wall structures to create depth and further ease of access to the backyard entertainment area. A large Japanese zen garden was installed that included a 75-foot, three-tiered water feature; handcrafted walking bridge; and Koi pond. To enhance the look of the home, we incorporated matching stone veneer to the ground level of the home's exterior that matched the retaining walls, with higher accents reaching the top level of the home in areas. We installed an impressive landscape lighting system throughout the entire property to enhance its beauty both day and night.

Annapolis Residence
Annapolis, MD

This Annapolis, Maryland, family was looking to take its empty backyard and make it into an outdoor living space that they could enjoy for years to come. A new Ipe deck with stainless steel cable railing was installed. This leads down to an expansive Pennsylvania bluestone patio and pool. At one end of the pool, we installed a 20' x 20' pavillion with a fireplace, TV, and automatic screens. This makes for an ideal, bug-free environment that can be used year-round. Alongside the pavilion is an outdoor kitchen and bar.
