Buckhead Atlanta
Atlanta, GA

The intent of this project was to turn this expansive 10-acre district into the "Rodeo Drive of the South," with a mix of 1.5 million square feet of luxury retail, restaurants, office space, and residences set within the existing neighborhood of Buckhead Village. The project installation included over 130 trees (ranging in size from 4- to 18-inch caliper), tens of thousands of container plants and annuals, 40,000 square feet of concrete pavers, 400 pots, 3,300 linear feet of wrought iron planter rails, and 63,000 bulbs. A project highlight was a 550-ton crane that was used to install four 40-foot oak trees (with 13-foot diameter rootballs) into prefinished 14-foot diameter holes using radio communication between ground personnel and the crane operator. With weather challenges and an unchangeable open date, a year's worth of work had to be compacted into just four months to bring this project to fruition—on time and on budget.

Myriad Botanical Gardens
Oklahoma City, OK

The renovation of Myriad Botanical Gardens helped to transform an existing 17-acre site into a world class destination in Oklahoma City. While this project was a commercial job, it had all the aspects of a theme park, with water features (which ranged from formal reflection pools and natural stream features to architectural water stairs and interactive wave pool and fountains), vast amounts of landscape material, over 610 tons of boulders, wood structures, intricate pathways, dog parks, a children's park, event lawns and pavilion, and elaborate plant material design—all condensed on a relatively compact site. Materials were selected from all over the world—which required coordination with regard to time zones for phone calls and deliveries, as well as exchange rates for payment. There were over 125 species of plants to source, some of which are not commercially grown, requiring close coordination with vendors throughout the country as well as with botanical garden staff to find viable substitutions when necessary.

The Point Condominiums

Our scope of work included adding concrete paver walkways, constructing two pergolas, coating the existing brick and concrete with an epoxy-crete finish, and installing plantings throughout the courtyard. Careful planning, strategic management, and excellent craftsmanship by our crews transformed this aged and dated brick courtyard into a modern, contemporary space intended to provide the residents a place for recreation and relaxation.

Rosary Garden
Severn, MD

Archbishop Spalding High School in Severn, Maryland, has a large campus with a population of 1,200 students. However, only one small interior chapel exists for the students to use for worshiping. The administration longed for a larger outdoor gathering space in which to worship or hold class on nice days. This underutilized interior green space lent itself the perfect spot to reach this goal.
